What is it?
It is a technology that allows to compare a face with a reference photo to determine whether it is the same person or not. For this to work, it is essential to have a reference photo; for example the photo of an official proof of identity, so, when the system captures the face, it could compare with it.
It is really important to also add a previous control which verifies the person is alive; otherwise, identity could be supplanted with photography. To avoid this, our solution uses mechanisms that ask the user to turn its face and talk so that it can check if it is a person and not a printed image.
